About this workshop 25 & 26 June 2019

This workshop aims to bring together scientists working on the human placenta perfusion model, as well as others working in adjacent fields of (placental) research who are interested in the approach.

The meeting will have an informal character and the aim is to make this an enjoyable learning experience that fosters collaborations. Next to presenting the application of the placenta perfusion model in addressing various basic and clinical research questions, we also aim to discuss best practices and help trouble-shoot any problems.

An exciting program will be synthesized from the submitted abstracts, covering the various applications, opportunities and challenges associated with the human placenta perfusion technique.
