Radboudumc PhD Retreat - Fall 2023 edition Research domains: Health Science & Clinical Science

Twice a year, the PhD Council organizes a two-day retreat for PhD candidates. Apart from the scientific content, these events give you unique opportunities to meet and get to know fellow PhD candidates during the social activities. 

Fall 2023 edition

The fall 2023 edition of the PhD retreat will focus on the research domains Health Science and Clinical Science. More information on these domains can be found on this intranet page.

• When and where?

  This edition will take place on Thursday, November 2nd and Friday, November 3rd at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Den Bosch. We start on Thursday at 9:30. An overnight stay at the hotel is included.

• Registration, fee and deadline

  Please register here. The registration deadline is October 1st.

  If you register before September 16th, you can pay the early-bird fee, which is €260,-. Later registrations will pay the regular fee of €315,-. Overnight stay is included in the registration fee.

   

• Submit abstract and deadline

  Please submit your abstract to graduateschool@radboudumc.nl before October 1st. The abstract template can be downloaded here.

• Program

  • Oral and poster presentations by fellow PhD candidates
  • Lecture by keynote speaker Prof. Diederik Gommers
  • Two engaging workshops:
    • Mindfulness and mental health
    • Pioneering entrepreneurship for PhD candidates
  • Thursday evening dinner and pub quiz
