Since 2000 we are organizing this yearly hands-on course International Course on Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of the Nose and Face.
External rhinoplasty, Transposition flaps, Nasal reconstruction, Otoplasty, Blepharoplasty, Brow lifting and Rhytidoplasty. These techniques are explained step by step by a multidisiciplinary international faculty of experts.
After each presentation you will practice a technique hands on.
Presentation and excercises
On a structured base all different surgical procedures, reconstructive and cosmetic as well, are tought and discussed. After each thorough presentation we go practising right away in the very modern and hight-tech dissection hall of the anatomy department. All 12 exercises (4 each day) are explained in an attractive course manual, that is also available online and sent to the course participants in the weeks before the course, in order to give them the opportunity to prepare well.
The quality of the bodies is outstanding because of the capacity of freezing in stead of chemical preservation. This method creates a superb “soft tissue feeling” that imitates the real surgical situation in the best possible way.
The course of 2019 was very well evaluated. The mean score was 8,6. (1=poor; 10=excellent).
'Excellent organization, faculty and dissection facilities.' 'The interdisplinary character was great.'
'Faculty was continuously in de Anatomy Lab, to share their knowledge and demonstrate their tips and tricks.'
