About the event Valkhof lecture - Wednesday 21 September 2022

About the lecture:

“This lecture presents key findings from research on psychological safety, and introduces the essential ideas explored in the book, The Fearless Organization (Wiley, 2019). It discusses what psychological safety is (and what it isn’t) and why this interpersonal construct matters more than ever in today’s healthcare organizations. It also offers ideas for building psychological safety in the workplace, drawing from research in healthcare and other industries. These include the power of framing, knowing how to ask good questions, and how to respond to others in ways that promote continued learning and excellence”.

See ‘Program’ for more information.
