(De)registering for education
All Medicine and Biomedical Sciences students who want to attend contact days have to register for these via the web dossier. All Dentistry students are assigned based on (among other things) decisions made by the Examination Board and the student advisor's recommendation. read more(De)registering for education
Medicine and Biomedical Sciences students who want to attend contact days have to register for these via the web dossier. All (de)registrations and changes in registrations have to take place online, via special registration forms – so not via OSIRIS.
You will be notified when you should register for education via a notification in your web dossier and/or an Ad Valvas message. Students who register in time are guaranteed to be assigned to education (decisions of the Examination Board reserved). Until three weeks prior to the start of a term-block, you can still register – but you can only be enrolled when there is enough space.
Exception first-year students
All new first-year students Medicine, Biomedical Sciences and Molecular Mechanisms of Disease do not have to register. They are assigned to the core block courses in the first 5 periods of the regular program (also see the study guide) by the department of Academic Education Support (OAO).
For the periods 6 up to and including 10 or 11a they will have to register though! Students who are going to follow an alternative program, for example because they are eligible for exemptions, will also have to fill in an online registration form.
Tests
Medicine/Biomedical Sciences students who are assigned to contact courses, are automatically registered for the block test. But when you want to do a retake, registration via OSIRIS (via your Student portal) is required!
