Last October the new Netherlands Code of Conduct for Research Integrity was published nationwide. To introduce this code in the Radboudumc we invited ‘Het Acteursgenootschap’ to perform ‘The ConScience App’, a theatre piece designed to move the debate on scientific knowledge from the headlines in the media to the daily work of academic researchers.

Friday 15 February, 09.30 - 12.00, Radboud Auditorium, route 296.
Netherlands Code of Conduct for Research Integrity

The play shows challenging situations, recognizable from daily practice, in a lighthearted manner. It aims to invoke reflection on and discussion about common research integrity dilemmas and research culture issues. For instance, which policy on mentioning co-authors is followed and which should be followed? Should you assess the work of your competitors and if so, how? How do individuals balance mentoring others and maintaining the quality of research? What is the influence of the duty to publish on the quality of your research?
