Anne-Marie van Cappellen-van Walsum is an assistant professor Anatomy. She is specialised in Neuroanatomy in relation to imaging. In the past five years, her main achievements were:
  • Several high impact scientific publications about Diffusion Weighted Imaging (DWI) MRI of white matter and microstructure in human brainnetworks; from ex vivo validation towards clinical application
  • PLI set-up at department of Anatomy, unique in NL
  • The development of an anatomy course of the human cerebral white matter in relation to imaging. Including an unique hands-on white matter dissection
  • Development of neuroanatomy education in the new medical curriculum Radboudumc
  • Development of the anatomy education in the reshaped curriculum of Technical Medicine, University of Twente
