Bram van Bakel completed his study Medicine with 'Honour' (Cum Laude) in December 2016. Subsequently he worked as medical doctor at the Department of Cardiology in 's-Hertogenbosch. Since March 2018, he joins the Integrative Physiology research group as a PhD-candidate. His research is focused on targeting sedentary behavior in patients with cardiovascular disease. Bram is working on the development of Sitting Interruption Treatment as a noveL E-health Secondary prevention Strategy (SIT LESS) for cardiac rehabilitation patients.
Ideally, every procedure in clinical practice and public health should take place based on proof, instead of intuition or 'experience'. Our aim is to innovate and personalize healthcare and public health.
