Eric Verschuren graduated from the Wageningen University in 2016, obtaining his MSc degree in Medical Biotechnology. For his last internship he joined the Department of Physiology investigating the role of K+ in TRPM6-mediated Mg2+ transport. Currently, he is working as a PhD student studying renal electrolyte reabsorption regulated by primary cilia.
