Joeri van Strien studied Biology at the Radboud University Nijmegen, focusing on bioinformatics and molecular biology. During his Msc internship at the CMBI he developed COPAL, a bioinformatics tool for the analysis of complexomics data, to study mitochondrial protein complexes in Barth syndrome patients.After obtaining his Msc Degree with a “Cum Laude” predicate, Joeri is currently continuing his work studying mitochondrial protein complexes and developing methods for the computational analysis of complexomics studies at the CMBI.
