Jojanneke Kooij lecturer

Jojanneke Kooij studied biology in Utrecht and obtained her PhD in Medical Science in 2004 at the VU University Medical Centre on the study of pentitol metabolism. Subsequently, she worked as a postdoc at the MRC Unit Oxford, Heidelberg University and Charité Berlin, performing research on neurons, glial cells, pericytes and mesenchymal stromal cells. At the department of Physiology, she is mainly involved in developing, coordinating and teaching in the new education program.
