Peter obtained his master's degree in Human Pathobiology in 2016 at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. During his studies, he performed internships at the department of Tumor Immunology in the RIMLS and at the Novartis Institiutes for Biomedical Research in Basel, Switzerland. In October 2016, he started as a PhD student at the department of Tumor Immunology. Currently, Peter researches the role of SNARE proteins between endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus, and how pH affects protein trafficking and glycosylation in the secretory pathway.
Our main aim is to achieve a greater understanding of the molecular mechanisms of disease. By integrating fundamental and clinical research, we obtain multifaceted knowledge of (patho)physiological processes.
