Peter van Lent researcher

Peter van Lent has studied medical biology and is specialized in immunology and experimental pathology. He is now workgroup leader in the department of Experimental Rheumatology and Advanced Therapeutics in Nijmegen in the Netherlands. The aim of his research is to elucidate mechanisms involved in cartilage and bone destruction in experimental models of RA and OA. In recent years he has particularly focused on studying the role of macrophages and macrophage related proteins in driving joint destruction.
