Prashanna Balaji or balaji, as he is known among colleagues completed his PhD at Wageningen UR with his thesis focused on computational systems biology and food sciences. He is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Persicope project and is responsible for identifying biomarkers of protection and immunogenicity pertaining to pertussis vaccination. He is also working on bio-marker identification project related to renal cancer.
