This research group on elderly care medicine consists of 6 sub-programs with three disease-oriented programs regarding people with late and young onset dementia and neurological disorders and three more symptom or functional based programs on mental health issues, palliative care and nursing research.

Aims

The aim of the program on elderly care medicine is to develop and evaluate (complex) interventions in frail elderly and people with chronic diseases with complex health problems in order to improve quality of care for these people.
