Renee Salz received her bachelor degree in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley before continuing to earn an M.Sc. in Bioinformatics with distinction 'cum laude' at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium. She is now working on her PhD in Proteogenomics in the Centre for Molecular and Biomolecular Informatics under the supervision of prof. Peter-Bram 't Hoen.
Our main aim is to achieve a greater understanding of the molecular mechanisms of disease. By integrating fundamental and clinical research, we obtain multifaceted knowledge of (patho)physiological processes.
