ENABLE - New Frontiers symposium 13 - 15 November 2019

Every year, RIMLS and RIHS each organize the New Frontiers international symposium across one of the thematic research areas of the Radboudumc with the intention of exploring the newest scientific research and pioneering developments from molecule to man and population.

In 2019 the RIMLS New Frontiers symposium was co-organized with ENABLE 2019. ENABLE 2019 was a five-day event that takes place from the 11th to the 15th of November 2019. It comprised two days of outreach activities for the general public (November 11-12), a workshop/career day (November 13) and two days of New Frontiers symposium (November 14-15). ENABLE 2019 was organized by and for young researchers.

During the ENABLE 2019 scientific symposium, the opportunities and challenges of the multidisciplinary character of next-generation science were addressed. Outstanding international speakers in four different topics (Personalized medicine, Advanced imaging, Big data and Fundamental research) presented their latest work. The common thread of ENABLE 2019 was cutting-edge, innovative and - as the title implies - groundbreaking research, executed side by side by next-generation scientists.
