Job description

We offer an exciting and varied position for a statistician with interest in methodology of clinical research, drug development and regulatory science. You will have a key role in scientific advice and regulatory assessment of new drugs as part of our collaboration with the Dutch Medicines Evaluation Board and the European Medicines Agency.

This is at the forefront of statistical methodology, where the increased availability of real world data and the experience of the COVID-19 pandemic have opened up new approaches to design and evaluate clinical research. This collaboration is also supported by participation in joint research projects in European context that aim to develop a methodological framework and analytical tools to integrate evidence from RCTs and multiple RWD sources.

You will engage in teaching at Bsc, Msc and post-graduate level, ensuring that also relevant new developments find their place there. This may include developing new master or post-graduate level courses. You will strengthen research collaborations within the Radboudumc, based on the advanced methodological expertise gained in the regulatory science context. This is especially important for the rare disease areas where Radboudumc aims to develop or evaluate new (drug) treatment options.
