Job description

There is a global need to have access to expertise for sustainable solutions in infectious disease care: from surveillance and infection prevention, to clinical infectious diseases management, to microbiological diagnostics and antimicrobial stewardship. This initiative seeks to bring together top experts worldwide to address these critical issues effectively. Join us in making a significant impact on infectious disease care globally through the SPICE expert registry. Apply today!

For this initiative we are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Coordinator to lead the development and management of the SPICE expert registry. You will be responsible for coordinating with the SPICE committee, developing standard operating procedures, managing partnerships, organizing committee meetings and ensuring the sustainability of the registry.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Development of SPICE expert registry, based on SPICE vision document and in consultation with the SPICE committee, including standard operating procedures and digital (IT) solutions for the evolving database.
  • Development of procedures for vetting and certification for the registered experts, guidance and practice for exchange of registry data with partners.
  • Practical organization of the SPICE registry, including matching of available experts to required expertise.
  • Innovating and developing partnerships with other international organisations and professional societies in the field (ICARS, WHO, ISAC, ESCMID, etc.), including the establishment of SPICE Advisory Board.
  • Preparing and organizing SPICE Steering Committee meetings, including technical and financial reporting to donors and partners.
  • Development of a sustainable and self-supporting registry, including internal and external communication.
