Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious pediatric cardiologist who can begin working at Radboud university medical center in Nijmegen on 1 May 2019 and who is able to bring their knowledge and high-quality healthcare services to the Amalia Children’s Hospital and the specialized clinical care of the Academisch Centrum voor Aangeboren Hartafwijkingen (ACAHA - academic medical center for congenital cardiac abnormalities). Within the priority areas specified above, this Radboud university medical center location focuses on non-invasive pre/postoperative diagnostics, prenatal diagnostics, and cardiogenetic care.


We would prefer a pediatric cardiologist with a doctorate who has a focus or interest in one of these areas. In addition to good communication skills and ambitions in the areas of education or academics, we are interested in someone with a proactive attitude to join us in the continued development of our center at both its locations as well as in the development of our network of regional partner hospitals.

Employment conditions

We are offering a permanent position (once the candidate has been deemed suitable) in the Pediatric division.

Upon commencement of employment we require a certificate of conduct (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag, VOG) and there will be, depending on the type of job, a screening based on the provided cv. Radboud university medical center’s HR Department will apply for this certificate on your behalf.
