Over Anna Niehues
Anna Niehues studied Biosciences at the University of Münster (WWU) in Germany, where she obtained her PhD with distinction "summa cum laude". She is working in a collaboration between the Center for Molecular and Biomolecular Informatics (CMBI) and the Translational Metabolic Laboratory (TML) of the Radboudumc. In her current work as a data scientist within the Netherlands X-omics initiative and EATRIS-Plus – Flagship in Personalised Medicine, Anna is interested in the integration of multiple omics data sets to drive translation of big omics data into biological insights. Her focus lies on the development of reproducible and FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) data analysis workflows that make use of FAIR multi-omics data. To this end, she organizes workshops, and collaborates with data stewards and researchers across Europe.
