General information
Yearly, RIMLS PhD candidates gather for the two-day PhD Retreat. Apart from the science, this event is highly valued for the opportunity to meet and get to know fellow PhD candidates during the social activities.
Objectives
- Present scientific data (oral presentation or poster)
- Discuss data presented by yourself and others
- Bring together both fundamentally- and clinically-orientated PhD-candidates
- Get into contact with fellow-PhD candidates
Scientific programme
- PhD candidates in the last year of their PhD project:
- Oral presentation
- Chairing of lecture sessions
- Other PhD candidates: Poster presentation (in English). This is not obligatory for students who started their PhD project in 2020.
- Keynote lecture: To be announced.
Social programme
- Dinner
- Party on Thursday evening

Prizes will be awarded for:
- 2 Best lecturer (€ 200 each)
- 1 Best poster presentation (€ 200)
Registration fee
- Early Bird before 5 March 2020: € 235,- per person
- Late registration after 4 March 2020: € 275,- per person
Prices include overnight stay at Conference Center Koningshof in Veldhoven and return travel (please state if bus transfer is required on registration form)
Costs will be charged to your department after the conference.
Cancellation of registration
Cancellation of registration without costs for your department has to be done before 1 April 2020. After this date, full costs will be charged to your department.
First come first serve, so don't register too late (deadline registration 16 March 2020).
