Guest lecture: Modeling host-microbiome interactions Experimental approaches and perspectives

Rūta Inčiūraitė, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Digestive Research, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, with a particular interest in intestinal epithelial barrier function and its regulation in health and chronic inflammation. Her research combines human ex vivo and in vitro models to explore how epithelial, immune, and microbial components interact to shape intestinal barrier function.
