Castor EDC workshop Essential eCRF design principles and live Castor EDC demonstration:
This workshop provides a roadmap for designing a high‑quality electronic Case Report Form (CRF) using Castor EDC. Rather than focusing on how to technically build an eCRF in Castor EDC—topics already covered in the online Castor Academy—we guide you through the essential design decisions that ensure reliable data, regulatory compliance, and an efficient study workflow. The workshop has a strong focus on studies subject to the Medical Research Involving Human Subjects Act (WMO), but the principles are also valuable for non‑WMO studies. In the second part of the session, we will highlight useful features of Castor EDC through a live demonstration, showing how Castor EDC can be used effectively in practice. Participants will gain hands-on tips, practical experience, and fresh insights into working with a data capture system like Castor EDC.
