The University of Rome "Foro Italico", in collaboration with the IEEE Sensors Council Italy Chapter, will be offering online, from June 14th to 16th, a specific 3-day online programme on Wearable Sensors in Sport.
The programme aims to provide an overview of current trends in wearable sports technologies, dive deeper into the specific needs of different sport disciplines, and show how physiological and biomechanical signals can be processed to obtain key performance and health indicators. Potentials and challenges on the use of wearable sensors in sport will be discussed and relevant recommendations provided by leading experts in the field.
For more details, please visit the Programme website and refer to the Booklet.
In view of the topic, we believe it could be of interest to PhD students and researchers working in the field of Sport Science from various backgrounds ( e.g. sports science, coaching, physiology, bioengineering, metrology) . For Ph.D. students interested in receiving course credits, an exam will be administered electronically after the end of the Summer School.
