28 June 2022

On 21 June, on the longest day of the year, it was finally time to come together for the Midsummer Night Event, and to enjoy a wonderful evening with good bbq.

The Midsummer Night Event is organized annually by the three Graduate Schools of Radboudumc (DCMN, RIHS and RIMLS). It is a free event, organized for Radboudumc PhD candidates and postdocs, in order to meet other young scientists, to celebrate science, and most of all, to have fun!

After multiple cancellations during the pandemic, this 5th edition of the Midsummer Night Event finally took place. The event started with an interesting lecture of Boris Konrad, memory scientist of the Donders Institute for neurosciences, who was unfortunately at home with COVID-19. Afterwards there was a joint barbeque until late night.

An impression of this event can be found here.
