Gaby Eliesen, theme Renal disorders has received the first Dr. Saal van Zwanenberg Master’s Thesis Prize on 28 November 2016 at the Royal Holland Society of Sciences and Humanities in Haarlem.

The prize, which consists of a diploma and 3000 Euros, is awarded to the best thesis in the field of pharmaceutical or medical sciences. Out of 30 submissions, Gaby was selected for her research on the transport and effects of the anticancer tyrosine kinase inhibitor crizotinib in the human placenta.
