The four technical universities (4TU), Radboudumc, Erasmus MC, Maastricht UMC, and venture investor Innovation Industries are joining forces to bring medtech solutions to the market faster. This week, the ministries of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, and Education, Culture and Science awarded 8 million euros to the medtech consortium of the Thematic Technology Transfer (TTT) scheme.
This TTT scheme is best practice in Europe in the field of support for spin-offs, incubators, and universities. The consortium aims to further expand the strong international position of the Dutch medtech sector.
