Bas Loomans graduated as a dentist in 1999 at the University of Nijmegen. Finished his PhD in 2007 with his thesis “Proximal contact tightness of posterior composite resin restorations”.

Bas Loomans assistant professor

Bas Loomans graduated as a dentist in 1999 at the University of Nijmegen. He finished his PhD in 2007 with his thesis “Proximal contact tightness of posterior composite resin restorations”. In 2008 he was a visiting-researcher at BIOMAT, KU Leuven, Belgium. He is now an assistant professor and leader of the Radboud Tooth Wear Project. He is involved with student education, post-graduate courses and has published 35 publications. He also works at a general dental practice. His main interests are adhesive and reconstructive dentistry using composite restorations.
