Chao Guo is a PhD student who works with animals to investigate the brain mechanisms of depression and addiction in the group of Judith Homberg. After spending nearly a decade studying in the field of biology, Chao believes that using animal models is the best way to understand the molecular mechanism of brain diseases. Chao has been trained in the Shanghai Key Laboratory of Brain Functional Genomics and has extensive experience in rodent behavior research. Chao holds a Master degree in Neurobiology from East China Normal University. Now, Chao is supported by China Scholarship Council to follow a high quality PhD training in Donders Institute.
