I am a senior researcher with over 10 years’ experience in science–policy–practice collaborations. I am motivated by new ideas that arise from intersectoral and multidisciplinary projects in which issues can be addressed from different perspectives. I am inspired by bringing people together, bridging knowledge gaps, and creating mutual understanding. I am driven by research that creates visibility for vulnerable populations, their health needs and wishes, especially people with intellectual disability (ID).

My research focuses on health, health equity, public health, and health promotion from a complexity and systems thinking perspective. For me, this implies that both context and different stakeholder perspectives are taken into account in each phase of research.
