Kim Wever assistant professor

Kim strives to improve the translational value of preclinical animal studies, using systematic review and meta-analysis as key tools. Working with in vivo models during her PhD, she became aware of the many challenges, both practical and ethical, faced by preclinical researchers. This motivated Kim to shift her focus to understanding and resolving the poor clinical translation of animal studies. She now conducts preclinical SRs and MAs, develops methodology to do so, and provides coaching and training to others.
