Thom Oostendorp associate professor

Thom Oostendorp obtained his master in Physics in 1983, and his PhD in 1989. He is a principle lecturer, and the head of the research group Neurophysics of the department of Cognitive Neuroscience.His field of research is bio-electricity, mainly in the modelling of currents in the human body, either generated by stimulating electrodes or organs within the body. The latter is applied to estimate the electric activity of the brain and the heart from recorded potentials (inverse problem).
