Abstracts and chairs
We encourage all PhD candidates to submit an English abstract (max. 250 words) of their research plans or study results. If you want to present your study results use the following format: background, methods, results, and conclusion. If you wish to submit your research plans use the following format: background, methods, expected results. You can submit your abstract here. The deadline to submit your abstract is 10 October 2021. The deadline to submit abstracts is 10 October 2021.
From the abstracts, PhD candidates will be selected to give either an oral presentation or a 4-minute short talk (to be determined by the abstract committee together with the organization). The best oral presentation and short talk will be awarded (€100 each).
You can also participate by chairing a session and/or join the abstract committee! Both are excellent opportunities to develop the skills you will need further in your career. In addition, these hours count towards your portfolio on Hora Finita. We will organize a 1-hour training before the retreat to explain how to become a good chair. If you choose one or both options, you can still submit your own abstract.
