Agenda Joining forces for rare diseases and drug repurposing

3 June 2024

Dutch initiatives on therapy development and access to drugs for patients with rare diseases are joining forces. You are cordially invited to help shape this collaboration!

During the meeting a number of local plans for therapy development for rare diseases will be discussed and RARE-NL will be presented. RARE-NL is a national collaborative initiative for rare diseases and drug repurposing of several UMCs including Radboudumc (Therapy accelerator for rare diseases), Amsterdam UMC (Medicine for Society) and LUMC (NFKC) to jointly bring drugs to the patient in a socially responsible way.
RARE-NL will be a collaborative hub of the national center of excellence for therapy development (FAST). The goal of RARE-NL is to efficiently address case studies and integrate experiences from the field at the national level: from case to system.
