The Radboud Data Repository (RDR) for Radboudumc research data! With the RDR, researchers can collect, manage and share their research data during the project, proceed to long-term storage and archiving at the end of the project and publish the data to the wider public. It is suitable for all types of data, including large datasets and sensitive data.

The RDR will become the preferred generic data repository for Radboudumc research data. The RDR allows safe storage of research data into so-called data collections. There are three types of data collections that serve the researcher in different phases of the research process:
- Data Acquisition Collection (DAC, internal use only) for storage and archiving of raw data
- Research Documentation Collection (RDC, internal use only) for storing documentation on the workflow from acquisition to publication: data acquisition methods, data processing and analysis methods/scripts, processed data, lab notes, etc.
- Data Sharing Collection (DSC, public access) for publishing research data sets. A DSC can be published as open access or with restricted access (e.g., for non-anonymized, human data). Publishing your data in the RDR increases the visibility and impact of your scientific output. Plus, you directly comply with the Radboud research data management policy, which requires that your data is findable (F of FAIR) and accessible (A of FAIR)
Up to 200Gb: free of charge!
Data storage in the RDR will be charged at €0.12/Gb/year (H-drive: €0.19/Gb/month). However, if your dataset is <200Gb, storage is free of charge! Plus, when you submit your data for publication in a DSC in 2024, data curation will be free.
