Education All events Farewell symposium Professor Carel Hoyng

Symposium and Farewell speech

On Thursday, June 11, 2026, Carel Hoyng will give his farewell lecture as Professor in macular diseases at Radboudumc.

To mark this occasion, a combined program has been organized. The program begins at 13:00 p.m. with the symposium 'Ophthalmology: present, past and future'.

This will be followed at exactly 4:00 p.m. by the academic ceremony, featuring Professor Carel Hoyng’s farewell address, titled 'Life is not a letter chart'.
The afternoon will be closed with a reception.
