Recently, ZonMw has created a promotional video about the research concerning the neighborhood sports coach project that took place in ten neighborhoods in seven municipalities, including the Nijmegen district of Hatert.

This project was set up and implemented by PhD candidate Eva Smit of the academic working group AMPHI of the Department of Primary and Community Care (ELG). Gerard Molleman, ELG Professor of Prevention, was also involved in the research. The aim of the research was the evaluation of the role of the neighborhood sports coach, the health outcomes and what role the neighborhood sports coach plays in the connection between care, sport and exercise.
