On 1 April the report ‘Research and innovation with and for a healthy region; think globally, act locally’ was handed by the Federation of University Medical Centers (NFU) to Minister Bruins of Healthcare.
This report was a reaction on a previous report of the Health council on the financing and direction of the research of University Medical Centers. See link.Pim Assendelft was chair of the Health council committee and also member of the NFU working group. Together with dean Frank Miedema of the UMC Utrecht, Pim was recently interviewed for the Year report of the Health council. In this interview Pim explains (in Dutch) the content and ambitions of the recent NFU report.
We expect that this report will be of interest for researchers from RIHS. The report will also be one of the topics on the Education and Research (O&O) Conference on Thursday 18 April 2019.
Pim Assendelft is member of theme Healthcare improvement science.
