At the 7th Dutch conference on Bio-Medical Engineering on 24 and 25 January 2019, the award for best poster presentation was received by Florieke Eggermont, Yvette van der Linden, Loes Derikx, Marianne de Jong, An Snyers, Tom Rozema, Nico Verdonschot and Esther Tanck.

The price was awarded for their poster entitled “Patient-specific Finite Element Models for Fracture Risk Prediction in Patients with Cancer and Bone Metastases”.
