Help to organize the only conference for PhD candidates and postdocs organized by PhD candidates and postdocs! Join the Scientific Organizing Committee of the FEBS-IUBMB-ENABLE conference 2023!

FEBS-IUBMB-ENABLE conferences on biomedicine are dynamic conferences that not only focus on science, but also on jobs and career development, involving the general public, and of course on having fun together! These conferences are organized by PhD candidates and postdocs from research institutes all around Europe (Barcelona, Copenhagen, Milan, Nijmegen, Sevilla and now also Cologne) and have beautiful names like ‘The Promise of Future Medicine: from Research to Therapy’ and ‘Next-generation life scientists: Side by side to break new ground’. These names show that the topic of the scientific conference is very broad and focuses on fundamental and translational research. The program includes world-class scientific speakers, many short talks of young scientists, innovative conference forms and a day dedicated to careers after a PhD.

Organizers wanted!

The Scientific Organizing Committee (SOC) is responsible for organizing the scientific program of the conference. They decide the subject of the conference, the speakers, the program and much more. The SOC will consist of 14 members, which will include 2 SOC members of each institute, 1 SOC member of IUBMB and 1 SOC member of FEBS. We are now looking for the two representatives of Radboudumc. We need:

  • A PhD candidate or postdoc who is employed till at least December 2023 who is
  • a team player with excellent organizational skills and
  • wants to invest time and effort in organizing this beautiful conference

The FEBS-IUBMB-ENABLE conferences series is sponsored by FEBS (Federation of European Biochemical Societies) and IUBMB (International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology).
