About VR-loket

Virtual Reality (VR) offers a wide variety of opportunities for healthcare. Consider, for example, the use of VR for acute pain management, rehabilitation after COVID-19, or chronic pain reduction. Several studies have been conducted in the Radboudumc on the added value of VR (amongst others: VIRTUAL, COVRehab, and PijnVRij). As a result of these studies, the “VR-loket” has been launched. The VR-loket is a meeting point for anyone interested in familiarizing with VR or applying the technology at one of the wards of the Radboudumc. Scientific research remains the core business of the VR-loket. Each use case provides new insights into the ideal use, user, timing, and applications of VR. This knowledge enables the VR-loket to better personalize VR to individual needs and values.

The Human Functional Genomics Project
