About Charlotte Bekker

Charlotte started her PhD in 2014 at Utrecht University to study the extent of medication waste and how to facilitate sustainable medication use. After finishing her PhD in 2018, Charlotte continued her research as a postdoctoral researcher at pharmacy department of Radboudumc. Here, she works on sustainable pharmaceutical care, focussing on medication waste, medication adherence, and optimal dosing of expensive drug therapies. Her work includes designing innovative interventions and coordinating trials using a wide range of methodologies, including qualitative research, intervention designs, cost-effectiveness analysis, and implementation science.
