Research News H-drives phased-out per 1 January 2026

18 November 2025

As of 1 January 2026, all H-drives will be discontinued and deleted. Many departments and researchers already took action by transferring research data from the H-drive to the appropriate locations. Thank you for that.
However, there are also H-drives that still contain large amounts of research data. If you have not transferred your research data yet, please do so as soon as possible to prevent losing your files: any remaining data on the H-drive will be lost on 1 January 2026.

Have you secured your data but do you still keep a copy on the H-drive? Then please check whether everything is in place and delete the data from the H-drive.

Not sure where to move your data to? Check the options below! Use the links for more information and ask your department for the options without a hyperlink.
