What is project storage? Read the backgound information
Radboudumc researchers who wish to collect human biomaterials for a specific research project can make use of the opportunities offered by the Radboud Biobank, i.e. standardized sample handling and/or storage of the collected samples. The Radboud Biobank stores and manages the collected biomaterial until these are required for analysis. All samples are registered in the Biobank Information Management System. Sample collection is terminated on completion of the project.
The collected biomaterials are intended for use in a specific research project and will therefore not be included in the BBMRI.nl catalogue. On completion of the project and in consultation, the remaining biomaterials may be stored as a departmental biobank collection if desired, in which case the biomaterial will be published in the catalogue.

Project storage
The Radboud Biobank offers researchers the opportunity for storage and management of biomaterial of research projects such as clinical trials, cohort studies and patient control studies.SOPS
