Education Nominate a candidate for Radboudumc’s submission for the ECHO Award 2026!

Do you know a bachelor’s or master’s student with a non‑Western background who is committed to social change, addresses structural inequality, and demonstrates inspiring leadership? Then nominate them!

ECHO (Expertise Centre for Diversity Policy) presents three awards:

  • ECHO Award HBO
  • ECHO Award WO
  • Actualities Award

We are looking for students who create impact within or outside Radboudumc , in any discipline. This student will be nominated on behalf of our organization to compete for the ECHO Award 2026.

Criteria for the ECHO Award 2026

The following criteria are used for selecting finalists and winners:

Vision on Social Impact

The candidate demonstrates a clear analysis and vision to strengthen the position of communities of color in the Netherlands, contributing to positive societal change.

Insight into Policy and Systemic Change

The candidate is committed to sustainable improvements in the field of diversity and inclusion, with a focus on addressing structural inequalities.

Leadership Qualities

The candidate inspires others, shows strategic insight, and is able to mobilize people in processes related to diversity and inclusion.
