News items Sensory Disorders Talent Award 2017

On 20 April during the Radboud Research Round the Sensory Disorders talent awards were awarded.

7 candidates were selected to present their paper during the Radboud Research Rounds. The jury consisted of Ronald Pennings, Frans Cremers and Clarissa Sanchez Guttierez.
Laura Lores de Motta reveived the talent award for best societal impact with her paper entitled "A genetic variant in NRP1 is associated with worse response to ranibizumab in neovascular age-related macular degeneration'. Nicole Saksens received the award for best scientific content for her paper 'Mutations in CTNNA1 cause butterfly-shaped pigment dystrophy and pertubated retinal pigment epithelium integrit'.
