Arjen Mensenkamp clinical laboratory genetisist

Arjen Mensenkamp is a laboratory specialist within the oncogenetics team. His main attention is on hereditary breast cancer, endocrine tumors (with a focus especially  paraganglioma and pheochromocytoma) and hereditary leiomyomatosis and renal cell cancer (HLRCC). He is chair of the Dutch work group on the diagnostics of hereditary breast cancer since 2012. He is also a member of the steering committee of the HEBON study group, that coordinates Dutch research on hereditary breast cancer. He was responsible for the implementation of Ion Torrent in BRCA1/2 and paraganglioma diagnostics and somatic mutation analysis. He is also actively involved in the ongoing development of the electronic request form since 2010.
