Ambition and impact

We focus on the eye and surrounding organs.

Besides providing daily clinical care, we research diseases of the retina, in particular age-related macular degeneration, central serous retinopathy and inherited retinal dystrophies.

We aim to better understand the molecular basis of eye diseases, and to develop new diagnostic devices and therapies.
