Els van Wijngaarden's research group examines existential and ethical questions surrounding death and dying in old age. It explores how people navigate the end of life in modern society, focusing on the growing trend of managing death and the impact of choice on ageing and dying.

Education

We offer the five-year doctors-to-anesthesiologists program. Furthermore, anesthesiologists and physician assistants can get training in sub-disciplines. We also participate in faculty educational programs for students and interns of Medicine, Dentistry, and Biomedical Sciences.
